Our today’s topic is – Fissure and Piles

Fissure and Piles are very troublesome and painful diseases as they hamper our daily activities. And if bleeding starts from fissure and piles then the trouble doubles and leads to lot of weakness too.

So let us understand

Who are more prone to having fissure and piles?

People who consume spicy food, non veg and those who are constipated ,they suffer more from this disease.

How to prevent these diseases?

1) Avoid getting constipated.

2) Follow “HEALTH MANTRA”of summer season.

So ‘HEALTH MANTRA’ for summer is –

“Eat Sweet, White, Watery, Coconut and Boiled food to avoid diseases of summer season.

So what to eat?

  • Eat food which is white in colour like rice, coconut etc.
  • Eat white fruits like apple, guava, banana, custard apple etc as white things are coolant.
  • In diet have more of milk and milk products likes ghee, buttermilk, makkhan i.e butter.
  • Avoid oily and spicy food esp green chilli, pepper, ginger, garlic.

In summer season if you don’t follow HEALTH MANTRA and eat lot of spicy food likes raw green chillies in form of chutney, sandwich, pani puri then bleeding starts from fissure and piles.

How to stop this bleeding?

Simple home remedy is –

ONION – Roast onion on the stove with the peels then take out the peels and consume it or have onion with curd. This remedy immediately stops bleeding from fissure and piles.

What diet changes to do if you get fissure and/or piles ?

1) Completely stop green chillies, pepper, ginger, garlic.

2) Consume a lot of buttermilk in both meals.

3) Eat SURAN vegetable. i.e. Elephant yam atleast 2-3 times in a week.

Before making SURAN vegetable, soak suran in buttermilk for an hour then wash it with warm water. As suran contains alot of calcium oxalates it should be soaked in buttermilk to remove oxalates. Eating suraj in raw form causes throat, tongue irritation and increases chances of joint pain as well as kidney stone.

4. Avoid eating green leafy vegetables and salads as fibres in them rub against pile mass and fissure and thus aggregates pain.

If you are constipated – to relief constipation consume 1 cup milk or 1 cup warm water added with 1 teaspoon of ghee or one teaspoon of almond oil before meals. This relieves constipation and flatus, as well as soothens anal skin and thus eases irritation and burning in anal area.

5. Every day in the morning and at night consume 1 teaspoon of Triphala powder or 2 tablets of Triphala on empty stomach with warm water.

All these home remedies will act as preventive measures against fissure and piles or will relieve your symptoms of fissure and piles.
But still you need to consult a doctor to treat the root cause.

In panchakarma,a therapy called KSHARSUTRA cuts the pile mass from the base and thus removes it completely.

Immunity booster for october – coconut , pART – 1.(home Remedy No – 06) blog – 42

In our last Health mantra blog – 08 we have learned that “Hritucharya i.e. changes in diet and routine according to season keeps us Healthy.”

Now October heat is coming. “In Ayurved this season is called SHARAD HRITU”.

So what changes to do in diet and routine in Sharad Hritu?…….. the changes are advised from Narali Pournima i.e. start eating coconut.

 So today’s Home Remedy No – 06 is

“Immunity Booster of October is – COCONUT.”

Coconut has an indispensible part in the Hindu religion and rituals. “It is referred to as shriphal” or divine fruit. Such is the importance given to Coconut. But about religious or philosophical significance of coconut we will study in our coming blogs.

Today on 2nd September on occasion of “WORLD COCONUT DAY.” We are going to study about the health benefits of coconut.

Universal is made up of 5 elements – Earth, Water, Fire, Space and Air.

Coconut grows in “Aakash mahabhut”. So coconut oil has the colour of Aakash i.e. white and others oil seeds like til, sesame they grow in “Pruthvi Mahabhut.” So they have the colour of Pruthvi i.e. Yellow.

Itsn’t nature fascinating. 

Coconut grows in Aakash Mahabhut. So it has more constituents of Aakash. So it works better on parts of body which have more constituents of Aakash.

According to Ayurveda these body part are – Head, Ear, Intestines and Bladder. So lets understands health benefits of coconut to each one of them

1 . HEAD –

Did you ever notice that there is a lot of Smilarity between a coconut and our Head? Coconut has hair, we have hair. It has hard shell, we have skull. The coconut from inside is similar to our brain and water similar to C.S.F. that is a fluid inside our head. That is why, coconut has alot of heath benefits for all the organs of our head.

So with start of October heat ……..

Start eating fresh ripe coconut with sugar in the morning on empty stomach.

So that it balances of Pittah in the body as well as it provides nourishment to Hair, Brain, Eyes and Ears. It is good for hair as well as eyes.

So at bed time we should apply coconut oil to feet and do massage so that our eyes remain cool and remain protected from october heat.

2. EAR –

According to Ayurveda EAR is an “Aakash” Mahabhut dominant organ. So becuase of noise pollution due to TV, mobile, vehicles etc. VAAT increases in Ear and so it leads to a lot of Ear problems like hearing impairement, tinnitus etc. According to Ayurveda, to balance Vaat in ear we should do “KARNA POORAN” with COCONUT OIL.

KARNA POORAN is instilling coconut oil in to Ear.

So once a week we should put 4/4 drops of coconut oil in each ear and lie down for 10 miutes. After 10 minutes when you get up clean your both ears with cotton properly, otherwise if oil remains in ear then it leads to fungal infection.

So in today’s blog we learnt health benefits of coconut for Head and Ear. In our next blog we will learn about its benefits for our Intestine and Bladder.

नींद नही आना |( घरेलू नुस्का नं – ०५) Blog – 28

आज का हमारा विषय है ….. नींद नही आना ….. आप पुछोगे इसमे कौनसी बडी बात हैं ?

१- २ दिन नींद नही आए तो कुछ इतना फरक नही पडता पर अगर उससे अधिक दिन हो जाए और नींद का ठाव – ठीकाना ना रहे तो परेशानी की बात हो जाती है |

रात को सब मस्त खराटे ले कर सो रहे होते है और आप चाहकर कर भी …..कितनी भी कोशिश करलो …..चाहे बाम लगालों ,जप करलो …..पुस्तक पढ़ लो पर नींद नही आती |तब नींद का महत्व समझता है|

और तब एक बात समझती है की नींद ऐसी चीज है जिसे जबरदस्ती नहीं लाया जा सकता |

नींद एक वरदान है |

लॉकडाउन  मे नींद न आना ये लक्षण काफी लोगो को परेशान कर रहा है |इसके अनेक कारण है जैसे –

  • शारीरिक कष्ट कम होना या बहुत ज्यादा होना | जैसे कामवाली बाई नहीं आ रही इसलिए अचानक शारीरिक कष्ट बढ़ गया |या फिर घर में एक जगह बैठकर ऑन लाइन काम करने से ….प्रवास नहीं है तो शारीरिक कष्ट एकदम कम हो गया |
  • मानसिक तान-तनाव – जैसे जॉब नहीं है या काम नहीं है इस बजह से टेन्शन ….अति बौधिक तान ….जैसे targets, online meetings etc.
  • अति स्क्रीनटाइम – ज्यादा Mobile , Loptop पे रहेने से उसके अति प्रकाश और विडिओ से मन चंचल रहेने लगा है |

इन सभी कारणो से ये बीमारी बढ़ रही है |

तो जानते है की निद्रादेवी को कैसे प्रसन्न करे ?

1) शारीरिक कष्ट का अभाव हो तो श्याम को कम से कम ४० मिनिट कसरत करे |

२) शारीरिक कष्ट ज्यादा हो तो – रात सोते वक्त सीर और पैरो को तैल से मालिश करो | इससे शरीर और मन की थकान दूर होकर नींद अच्छी आती है |

४) आयुर्वेद नुसार शरीर मे कफ बढ़ने से निद्रा आती है |तो रात सोते वक्त थोड़ा जायफल चूर्ण भैस के दुध मे डालकर उसका सेवन करे |

नींद लाने के लिए और कुछ ख़ास नुस्के –

१) खसखस खसखस बहुत ही हल्का होता है |ये निद्राजनक है याने नींद लाता है | रात के खाने मे अगर खसखस की खीर बनाकर खाएंगे तो नींद बहुत अच्छी आएगी |

2) हल्दी –रात के सभी पर्यायी नाम हल्दी को दिए है जैसे रजनी ,निशा …क्युंकी रात के समय होने वाली सभी बीमारियो पे बहुत अच्छा काम करती है | इसलिए रात सोते वक्त भैस के दुध मे हल्दी डालकर सेवन करोगे तो आप को बहुत अच्छी नींद आएगी |

इन सभी घरेलू नुस्को से निद्रादेवी प्रसन्न नहीं हुई तो आयुर्वेदिक वैद्य की सलाह लेकर दवा लीजिये | क्युकी आयुर्वेदिक दवा की आदत नही लगती ।और आयुर्वेद के पंचकर्म मे “शिरोधारा ” नींद के लिए बहुत उपयुक्त है | इसमें औषधि तेल से सिद्ध की धारा माथे पे छोड़ी जाती है| इससे मन को शांति मिलती है और बहुत अच्छी नींद आती है |

ये सब नुस्के आपको जरुर नींद दिलायेंगी |तो खाओ ,पीओ और मस्त खराटे लेकर नींद का आनंद लो |
